Judas Priest Celebrates 40 Years With Album Release Due At The End Of This Year

The heavy metal legends Judas Priest are currently celebrating forty years as Metal Gods by working on a follow-up to their 2008 “Nostradamus” studio album, 2011 “Epitaph World Tour”, and this year’s “Epitaph” DVD release.

The project, yet to be titled, is due out by the end of the year says frontman, Rob Halford. After sitting down with VH1 Radio Network this week to discuss details of the group’s new album, Halford continued: “We’re in no rush. It’ll be ready when it’s ready. What we will say is we felt it was very important to follow up “Nostradamus”, the last release, and that was a concept experiment and it was a real success for us and the fans loved it, but I think our fans and ourselves as a band, we want to get back to the side of Priest that we haven’t heard for a few years and reemphasize and remake…
